Summary:
A case of acute gastric volvulus (GV) in a young girl is
reported. The patient reported with acute severe upper
abdominal pain and distension but no hematemesis,
melena and vomiting. Clinically, the condition was
diagnosed as acute abdomen and per-operatively the
condition was found to be an acute gastric volvulus
