Summary:
Cleft palate is the second most of all body congenital
anomalies and the most common congenital anomaly to affect
the orofacial region. Reconstruction of cleft alveolus is an
integral part of the cleft patient management. The aim of
this study was to restore the form of maxillary arch, closure
of oronasal communication and eruption of tooth in the cleft
area. Nine patients were selected for the study, age ranges
from 8-11 years and was referred by the orthodontist.
Cancellous bone from the Iliac crest was grafted in cleft area
and subsequently evaluated for graft success using
